Miguel Ayako (born 1980 in Lisbon, Portugal), professionally known as AYAKO,

and Hip-hop as form of musical expression and artistic culture, was the main influence
to his maturation as an artist. Through all of his projects, Ayako tries to blur the line between Hip Hop and Japanese culture by sampling* inspirations from various artists works
to his own Art.

"His multilayered wood technique gives is art a presence that exales life and energy within the space of the observer."
