Frederico Soares Campos - DRAW (Porto, Portugal, 1988). Currently enrolled in the Master in Architecture at Oporto’s School of Architecture (FAUP), Frederico started developing, since 2006, a very keen interest in Photography and Architecture. His academic and professional backgrounds and experinences have always been divided between these two forms of artistic expression. In 2007, he started a fruitful collaboration with the CCRE (Centre for Spatial Communication and Representation) and has been since involved in several projects connected to the world of photography as a mean of artistic and spatial communication. By 2008, he was integrated in the BII project, an academic scholarship granted by the CEAU (Centre for Architecture and Urbanism Studies) and in 2008-2009 he was one of the members of the LIDERA Project, sponsored by the University of Oporto, in cooperation with the “Laboratório de Imagem” (Image Lab), a project focused on Photography and Imaging studies. He is, since 2010, the Contest Director for SCOPIO MAGAZINE, a role to which he added the one of Assistant for the Communication, Photography and Multimedia (CFM) course at FAUP during the school years of 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Apart for his deep involvement with Architecture and Photography, Frederico always nurtured a special love for Street Art and Graffiti, a form of expression with which he has been involved since 2001 and where the strong influence the Plastic Arts have on him is clearly identifiable.
