Wize aka Nomen was born in Luanda (Angola) in 1974 and grew up in Carcavelos – Lisboa Portugal, the legendary birth place of graffiti in Portugal.
As one of the graffiti art pioneers in this country he has been writing graffiti for more than 2 decades, started putting tags and throw ups on the streets of Portugal in 1989.
Nomen is a style swinger, always trying to reinvent himself and create different approaches to graffiti, whether is traditional New York letters and themes, 3D Graffiti, characters or illustrations.He is a selfmade artist who as never set foot in any arts school
In 2001, the book Trafego- Antologia Crítica da nova visualidade Portuguesa, which elected the 100 most representative activists of Portuguese culture, featured him as graffiti pioneer and style developer.
In 2010, the international book, 3D Street Art, from Tectum Publishers, elected him as one of the best 25 street artists in the world in that year, along with names like Daim, Roa!,Kurt wenner, Edgar Muller and other stars.
n 2012 started painting political walls with great media attention and hype in Amoreiras , Lisboa, his pieces appeared even in newspapers along the world with his mural and friends “Angela Merkels Puppets”

Featured in too many websites to declare, all the TV´S in Portugal-RTP, SIC, TVI, all the important Newspapers in Portugal like “Público”,

Nomen também conhecido por Wize; Dega; e Gash nasceu em Angola 1074 sob o nome de baptismo Nuno Alexandre Reis. Filho de pais recentemente retornados de áfrica, assentou residência em Carcavelos. Em 1989 começa a interessar-se pelo graffiti e espalha os seus primeiros tags sob o nome de Wize.
Começa a pintar assiduamente a partir 1990, durante algum tempo pinta com os primeiros jovens iniciados no graffiti desde 1988, artistas que pintavam com os nomes ZAR, KAZAR, GIZMO, SPIN E DOJO (Almada) e que tinham feito o arranque em Carcavelos e Almada, do graffiti estilo New York em Portugal.
Em 1991 conhece o artista YOUTH e anos mais tarde , o OBEY ; EXAS e MOSAIK.
Em 1993 forma o crew PRM com esses artistas PRM - Paint Rackin Mafia / Piromaniacs espalham o graffiti de norte a sul de Portugal, incentivando cada vez mais jovens a fazerem graffiti.
Em 1994 um artigo especial sobre o graffiti de 4 páginas aparece escrito com entrevista aos artistas do crew PRM e fotos na revista Blitz de 7 Fev de 1994. Centenas de jovens ficam motivados pelo graffiti após esse artigo.
